CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE

Based upon the 2010 Manufactured Dwelling Installation Specialty Code
August 1, 2010

• This web based course has been developed for the purposes of providing continuing education for certified manufactured home installation inspectors regarding the 2010 Manufactured Dwelling Installation Specialty Code, and the applicable administrative rules in OAR 918-500 and 918-515. (Click on the code or the rules to view the online versions of these documents.)

• Oregon administrative rule requires certified inspectors to obtain a minimum amount of continuing education every three years. Previously the division allowed certified inspectors to obtain continuing education credit for attending the “live” manufactured dwelling installer/ inspector training class. Since the “live” class is no longer offered, the division is now offering this web based continuing education course. This course is not mandatory and inspectors are not required to obtain a passing score to obtain continuing education credit.

• Inspectors may obtain 4 hours CEU by completing the following questions, printing out the certificate of completion, and submitting it to their employer (Building Official).
