Introduction

Grateful patients and grateful family members are key to fundraising success, whether it is for a hospital, for home health care programs, or for hospices. The approaches may be different for home care and hospices because the care is delivered at home, and the relationship is primarily with a nurse, a rehab therapist, or a hospice multidisciplinary team, instead of with a physician in a hospital setting. However, the appreciation and bonds that are created in home care and hospice can be a well-spring for philanthropic support. ARE YOU MAXIMIZING YOUR FULL POTENTIAL OF PHILANTHROPIC SUPPORT FROM YOUR HOME CARE AND HOSPICE PROGRAM? Responses to this survey will help us know what is working and what is not in home care and hospice fundraising, and will inform a robust discussion at AHP about best practices and opportunities for successful fundraising in these areas.
