The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) is starting a new program for:

• Children and youth in foster care and adoption assistance

• Youth in the juvenile justice system living in community residential care

These members will move from the current Medicaid fee-for-service delivery system to the Medicaid managed care program, Georgia Families. DCH’s 1115 Demonstration waiver application for these members provides the program goals and objectives for members, families, providers and partner State agencies. Public input is an important component of the waiver application process and your feedback will be reviewed and considered before DCH’s submission of the final waiver application.
