Not just any firm can nominate themselves for recognition at The Law Awards of Scotland, in association with Registers of Scotland.
To take part firms are subjected to a process of independent research to make sure they are rated by clients and peers alike. Only those that pass muster on this front will be invited to enter the Law Awards.
This process is now underway and we are already carrying out research amongst 1,000s of Scottish clients and your fellows professionals. However, to increase your chances of making the final cut it would be a great help if you could suggest up to five clients who might have a view on your firm's services.
We will then contact these clients and ask them to rate their Law firm in key areas such as quality of services and value for money. Obviously this information will only be used for the purpose of this exercise and you can be rest assured it will not be passed onto any third party. There is an additional benefit to being nominated this year. In our view even getting to the stage of being invited to enter The Law Awards of Scotland is in itself a type of quality mark.
In view of this, all firms that are nominated this year will be included in The Firm's register of Recommended Law Firms, which will be published in both digital and hard copy form. It will serve as a tremendous help to any clients seeking the services of one of Scotland's best law firms.
