2012 Summer School SOL Remediation/Testing Registration

Summer School 2012 will look different this year with the inception of the E2020 program. In turn, the SOL testing for the summer administration will also be run differently. We will continue to offer tests to those students that did not pass during a previous administration, and we will also offer remediation sessions to help refresh the material for those students. We will offer a remediation session from 9:00 - 10:15 for each of the following days, with SOL testing to follow starting at 10:30.

4. On July 16-19, we will offer the SOL English 11 Writing assessment. The sessions will run from 12:00 - 3:00 and each student must complete a multiple choice and writing prompt in order for the SOL to be scored.

5. On Wednesday, August 1st, we will hold an English remediation session from 9:00 - 10:15 and will then offer the English 11: Reading and Reading 8 SOL tests at 10:30 for those students that need to retake one of those tests. Please indicate your preference for Wednesday, August 1st.
6. On Thursday, August 2nd, we will hold Science remediation sessions from 9:00 - 10:15 and will then offer the Earth Science, Biology, and Chemistry tests at 10:30 for those students that need to retake one of those tests. Please indicate your preference for Thursday, August 2nd.
7. On Monday, August 6th, we will hold Social Studies remediation sessions from 9:00 - 10:15 and will then offer the World History 1, World History 2, World Geography, and US/VA History tests at 10:30 for those students that need to retake one of those tests. Please indicate your preference for Monday, August 6th.
8. On Tuesday, August 7th, we will hold Math remediation sessions from 9:00 - 10:15 and will then offer the Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry tests at 10:30 for those students that need to retake one of those tests. Please indicate your preference for Tuesday, August 7th.
