National NP Business Survey

 

According to the 2010 Pearson Report, there are now 158,000 Nurse Practitioners in the United States. What that number does not tell us however, is how many of these Nurse Practitioners are operating their own businesses and practices.

The purpose of this survey is to discover, as much as possible, how many NPs are in their own businesses and practices, and how many are considering joining their ranks.
