1. The Vermont Trails and Greenways Council is once again planning the Vermont Trails Symposium! The Council seeks to ensure that people will always have access to adequate land and water-based trails and greenways. We continue to provide important planning and educational resources through our newsletter, publications, website and our annual Vermont Trails Symposium, to be held in 2010 on October 16th and 17th at the Northwoods Stewardship Center in Island Pond, Vermont. The Symposium is a low cost educational event that we coordinate for the benefit of recreation in Vermont. We move the event around the state each year to be able to reach everyone in the state. We want YOU to give us feedback on what you want to see at the Symposium this year!
