On April 4-6, 2013 in Chicago, IL, Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy will host the 2013 EPIP National Conference.

Our national conference brings together over 300 of philanthropy and the nonprofit sector's most talented and diverse emerging leaders to focus on how they can use their time, talent, and treasure to make the world a more just, equitable, and sustainable place. Our conference immediately precedes the Council on Foundations’ Annual Conference in Chicago. We prepare our emerging-leader members to show up at the Council primed to engage the broader field of philanthropy by contributing a fresh, innovative perspective to this work.

The theme for this year's national conference is LEAD. We will expose conference participants to innovative ideas, provide stellar examples of emerging leaders, and create pathways to leadership. We expect our members to take ownership of their personal development so they can increase their impact on their organizations, the communities in which they live, and the world. Plenary sessions, concurrent workshops, learning tours, and career coaching opportunities will arm attendees with tools to become knowledgeable advocates for positive change.

EPIP works to provide the necessary support for emerging foundation leaders to thrive in the philanthropic field. We are fully aware that as foundation budgets shrink due to the economy, opportunities to travel and access to professional development are being drastically affected. Through this quick application we are interested in learning about how the current economic environment impacts you.

Only current dues-paying members of EPIP are eligible to receive a Next Gen Scholarship. Members can receive up to $500 to use towards travel.

All applications are being received and approved on a rolling basis.

Thank you.
