Congratulations on your admission and decision to attend Philadelphia University. It is my pleasure to welcome you to our exciting and vibrant community!
In keeping with our goal of providing the most engaging educational experience possible, I am thrilled to invite you to apply for admission to our Learning Communities Program. This service-learning program, now in its fourth year, offers students the unique opportunity to co-enroll in two courses with other students who share an academic major and an interest in service. By participating in this program, you join a group of peers with whom you share common values and are actively engaged in learning and service together. As part of your learning community, you will be in two classes as a cohort group, paired with an upper class mentor and interact with accomplished and caring instructors. Also, upon successful completion of the course, you will fulfill your Physical Education requirement and earn one credit towards graduation.
Please complete this online application by Wednesday, May 15, 2013. You will be informed of your enrollment status in the Learning Communities program prior to the first summer orientation START session.
