A limited number of scholarships are available to help schools and educators offset the fee for the professional development institute. Scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but must be completed prior to registering for the Institute.
Application Procedure
To apply for a scholarship, schools must submit the following materials:

1) Completed Application Cover Sheet (see next page)
2) Statement of purpose from the Educator: In the space below, please write a brief (350-500 word) statement about your motivation for participating in the World Savvy Sustainable Communities Institute, your goals for the institute, as well as your plans for engaging your students in either the Media & Arts Program (NY or SF) or the World Savvy Challenge and your goals for students' participation.
