2012 Instructional Incentive Award for Classroom Innovations
The Professional Development Center Board is pleased to announce the 2012 Instructional Incentive Awards Program, which provides support for purchasing equipment or technology that will be used in the classroom to enhance students’ intellectual experiences in one of the following areas, as outlined in the Baccalaureate Goals learning outcomes framework:
o Skilled (develop Intellectual and Applied Skills, Literacies and Knowledges),
o Connected (engage Community and Diversity: Local Stewardship, Global Citizenship),
o Creative (demonstrate Scholarship, Artistry, and Innovation), and
o Responsible (activate Sustainability, Ethics, Leadership, and Professionalism).
Funded by the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, this grant aims to fund as many qualifying projects as possible. The Professional Development Center Board is responsible for the review of applications and for making recommendations on awardees to the Provost for Academic Affairs.
