All answers will remain anonymous and will only be used by ANCOR toward the creation of recommended practices and policies that may allow technology to be better used to improve the delivery of supports provided by the direct support workforce to people with disabilities.

17. Many in-home supports use technology to supplement or save staff time to monitor certain health and safety precautions for the individual served. In-home monitoring equipment such as video monitoring and sensors are becoming an increasingly common tool for this purpose. How do you feel about working in a home that includes remote monitoring technologies? What do you feel about working in a home that inclued remorte monitoring technologies? What do you ses as the advantages and disadvantages suc support systems can have on your work?
