New York State Learn and Serve America and the Governors Summit Statewide Organizations group are conducting a statewide survey to learn about how community service and service-learning are impacting education both in school and out of school. We would like your help. Please have the person in your school or organization who can provide the most comprehensive information about your community service or service-learning program complete this survey. We would like only one survey completed for each school or organization.

Service-learning is an activity that combines academic learning with meaningful service in the community, along with reflection about the experience.
Community service is a volunteer activity that benefits the community.
