Our Truths-Nuestras Verdades, a pro-voice magazine, is delving into uncharted waters. Our Winter 2008 Humor Issue will explore humor as a healing tool, find out whether there can be “funny moments” in an abortion experience, and assess abortion humor in pop culture.

We are not looking to mock abortion, the women who have them, or those who fight for or against abortion. Instead, we want to hear women’s voices and explore this question: Can humor help unlock the stigma around abortion?
