May 2009 Guatemala Survey
1. Section One
Joint Council is conducting this survey in order to more effectively advocate on behalf of the children of Guatemala and the family's seeking to provide them with a safe, permanent and loving family. We also seek through this survey to bring clarity to the question of how many adoptions remain in process in Guatemala. Given the wide range of numbers provided by the U.S. and Guatemalan governments Joint Council has determined that only through your participation can we determine an accurate number of adoptions in process.
Your participation is both needed and appreciated. We thank you for your time and your continued dedication to the children of Guatemala.
When completing the survey please be aware of the following:
Please do not complete this survey if you have already completed your adoption and arrived in the U.S. with your child(ren) from Guatemala.
If you cannot remember specific dates for questions, please leave the question blank.
If you are in the process of adopting more than one child, please fill out a separate survey for each child.
Joint Council will not post or share your individual responses, unless you give approval by checking yes to question #2 in section two. Joint Council will post and share the cumulative survey results.
