My name is Peter Johnson and I am a tourism researcher and doctoral student from McGill University, working with Dr. Renee Sieber in the Department of Geography.

I am asking for your participation in a survey on the current range of tools and data used for tourism planning in Nova Scotia. This information will be used to direct the development of a computer-based tourism planning tool. This innovative software program will allow planners to experiment with a variety of tourism scenarios. Your help with this survey is instrumental in the design of this tool, which will be made available for your use and evaluation. This survey should take 15 to 25 minutes. You do not need to answer all the questions and may stop at any time. Your identity will be kept confidential and this information will be used only for academic research purposes and has received ethics review and clearance from McGill University Research Ethics Board.
