1. Field Reviewers
In the past years, ACPE’s success in ensuring quality continuing pharmacy education has come in part due to the support of the CE community at large. As ACPE is on the eve of introducing a new field review process to enhance continuing pharmacy education, the CE team would like to inform the continuing pharmacy education community of the new process, as well as offer an opportunity to participate in this very important process.
As part of ACPE’s ongoing efforts to meet the needs of continuing pharmacy education, ACPE has restructured the field review process. The new process is based on the Accreditation Standards for Continuing Pharmacy Education effective January 2009. The field review process, started in spring 2009, will include: a written report review, plus participating in a two hour conference call with a provider and CPE Commission member. Field reviewers will be trained via a conference call or web-cast. ACPE is looking for field reviewers for both the spring and fall cycles.
