Coates Library Film Survey

Patrons at Trinity University’s Coates Library locate films in a number of ways. This survey is part of a larger research project conducted collaboratively by librarians from the technical services and public services departments to determine which strategies are most often used by patrons, and how the library can better meet the media information needs of the local community.

You must be 18 years old or older to participate in this survey. Participants will remain anonymous unless they choose to volunteer for our second survey to be conducted in spring 2008. Those who volunteer for the second survey can be identified by email address. However, email information will not be connected to results for the second survey and will not be collected for any future use beyond the solicitation of the second survey.

Participants will receive no direct personal benefit from participation in either survey. Participants will not be harmed or placed at risk (physical, psychological, economic, legal, or otherwise) during the data collection procedures for this project. This project received approval from Trinity University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) in October 2007. If you have questions about this survey, please send an email to Benjamin Harris. If you have questions or concerns to be directed to the IRB, contact Professor J. Paul Giolma (210.999.7563). Thank you for your participation.
