1. SHCA Call for Webinar Proposals
Welcome to the SHCA Call for Webinar Presenters Proposal Submission Process. The entire process may take 20 minutes to complete. The call for presenters will be available year-round.
Webinar Format: All speakers are asked to submit content to fill at least 75 minutes of broadcast time. The remaining 15 minutes is designated for valuable Q&A participation from the audience.
2009 Webinar Available Dates
Wednesday, July 22, 2009, 1:00 p.m. CST
Wednesday, September 23, 2009, 1:00 p.m. CST
Wednesday, October 28, 1:00 p.m. CST
Wednesday, December 2, 1:00 p.m. CST
All Member and Non-member faculty are asked to speak gratis. Presenters whose proposals are accepted will receive a complimentary registration to an upcoming webinar.
The Member Value Committee will conduct a thorough review of all submissions. Each session will be evaluated based on:
- Merit of Content
- Qualifications of the Presenter(s)
The Member Value Committee is responsible for identifying and selecting session content which delivers creative and innovative programming to address the professional challenges of patient advocates.
Submitted proposals should be at Intermediate and Advanced levels. The presenter should determine the applicable education level for their session.
To ensure a balanced webinar schedule, all selections will be evaluated. Presentations are selected according to:
- The degree to which the presentation supports one or more of the SHCA Domains of Practice
- Thoroughness of the subject matter and proposal
- Originality of materials
- Quality of learning objectives
- Quality of takeaway tools offered to all participants
- Appeal to a diverse and broad spectrum of attendees
Be sure to complete the entire proposal once you begin entering information. You will not be able to save and continue later. Required fields must be completed in all sections.

Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
