The Historic Preservation Office is working in coordination with Preservation New Jersey and others to learn what you think are the most important actions needed to preserve New Jersey’s historic resources.

Gathering the opinions of our citizens is the first step in developing a revised five year plan for historic preservation in New Jersey. The NJ Historic Preservation Plan is designed to guide statewide historic preservation planning and decision-making.

Our goal is to develop an integrated Plan, combined with the activities of other preservation and planning organizations, so that New Jersey’s preservation actions meet priority needs and protect our treasured resources for the future.
