Local Action on Food General Survey -February 2010
1. Membership of the Local Action on Food Network
The Local Action on Food Network has been running for almost 1 year, Hurrah! and is building up momentum. The network is diverse and brings together people and projects from across the country that are committed to a healthier and more sustainable food system.
The benefits of membership of the network include
- A regular copy of Rhubarb, our local food publication
- A discount on our national local food events (events we have organised in the past include topics such as access to land, local food policy and community food hubs)
- A monthly e-newsletter with funding information and news from members across the country.
- Advice and support on a range of local food issues such as urban agriculture, food co-ops, ethical catering and local food policy through our various e-networks
We are conducting this survey to find out what our supporters want us to be doing and to try and engage with as many interested people as possible around local food.
Many thanks for you time and help with this- Best wishes from the Local Action on Food team
