1. Language Acquisition Among Twins

We have constructed this survey on the topic of Language Acquisition among Twins. The survey will help us complete our research project in our English 300 course with Dr. Chris Voss at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The purpose of the survey is to see whether language acquisition differs between twins and those who are not twins. This survey will give us a basis for the topic along with research that will help us with this project. Since this survey does not involve minors, blood samples, and is not for publication, we did not need consent by the Human Subjects Committee (HSC)/ Institutional Review Board (IRB) of SIU. The survey should not take longer than ten minutes and it is anonymous. The deadline for completion is April 11, 2008. Once the survey has been completed, you will be able to obtain a copy of the results if you would like. Thank you for taking time to fill out the survey, we greatly appreciate it!

Sincerely,

Ashley Wetzler and Amanda Murphy
