With this survey, we invite you to share your insights about the professional development needs of staff charged with delivering campus information services. Along with the input of other survey respondents, your responses will help us identify workshop topics for NITLE's Information Services Camp, a set of events that will offer information services staff the opportunity to learn new skills, develop peer contacts, and energize themselves to meet campus technology challenges (June 1 - 4, 2009, at Smith College; see http://campnis.blog.nitle.org/)

What are the top 2-3 priorities for staff skill development for your information services staff in the next 2 years? How do you see those skills contributing to your organization’s mission?

This list has been assembled from conversations with participants at past NITLE events and their evaluations of those events, as well as from a broad range of sources about technology trends in higher education. Please check off the level of importance of each topic to your staff development on a scale of 1 - low to 5 - high.
