1. Nominate an E4S Champion of Sustainability

 
At the 7th annual E4S Champions of Sustainability awards ceremony, the community will recognize individuals implementing sustainability principles. Help us discover these regional leaders by nominating someone who is doing groundbreaking work to bring wind industry jobs to Northeast Ohio, connect local farmers to new markets, design energy efficient buildings, turn waste streams into profit opportunities or any other project that fits the selection criteria. In addition to putting sustainability to work for their business or organization, champions of sustainability also support others in the community so that together they are building a sustainable economy. Most importantly, your nominee should be someone who inspires you to implement sustainability.

A champion could be anyone: a business owner, purchasing agent, product designer, architect, maintenance person or sales representative. Champions can be entrepreneurs starting new businesses or change agents in established businesses, governments or non-profit organizations. Champions should be individuals, not companies or organizations, but nominations of teams will be considered.

These questions will guide the review of nominations:
• Is this individual`s story inspirational?
• How easily can someone else translate their success?
• What is the overall impact on people, planet and prosperity?
• Does the nominee actively participate in the sustainability community?

Recognition:
• All nominations will be acknowledged on the E4S website.
• Each individual award winner will receive an E4S membership for one year for their organization.
