Purpose

As part of an MSc research project being conducted at Cranfield University, I am collecting data about the effects of Crew Resource Management (CRM) training on cabin crew.

The questionnaire is designed to be completed only by those people who have current or previous in-flight cabin crew experience. Pilots, or personnel in other aviation fields, are respectfully requested not to complete the questionnaire.

The questionnaire should take about 10 minutes to complete.

You should only complete this questionnaire once.

Permission has been obtained from PPRuNe to conduct this questionnaire.

Anonymity and Data Protection

All data collected in this questionnaire will be held anonymously and securely. Individual results are strictly confidential. By using the web link to the questionnaire, individuals cannot be identified in any way. The demographic data collected at the beginning of the questionnaire cannot identify any individuals.

Instructions

1. To start the questionnaire, click on the NEXT button at the bottom of this page. You will notice a box at the bottom of this and every other page which shows your progress through the questionnaire.

2. Work your way carefully through all the questions. An answer is required for each question, so pick the answer that best suits your personal circumstances, experience, or what you think you are most likely to do in that situation. Where a question describes a situation, try to imagine yourself in that environment and how you would react. There are no 'right' or 'wrong' answers.

3. You can use the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to navigate through the entire questionnaire to review your answers.

4. Once you have completed all the questions, select the DONE button from the last page.

What happens next?

The questionnaire will be 'live' for a couple of months, after which the results will be analysed and made available through PPRuNe.
