In addition to the five statewide meetings held recently, this brief survey seeks your opinions on the Statewide Historical and Cultural Grants process outlined in the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF), as designated under the Legacy Amendment.

Your input will help to shape and guide a new statewide grants program that will be used to supplement, not supplant, traditional sources of funding for historical and cultural organizations. Over this biennium, the Legislature has appropriated $6.75 million for Historic and Cultural grants from the ACHF.

Please keep in mind that the ACHF, which is generated from public tax dollars, may not be used for day-to-day operating expenses and must create projects of enduring value for Minnesotans to enjoy now and in the future.
