The N.C. Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Assistance has developed EMS guidance materials and a timeline modeled on ISO 14001:2004 as a benefit to N.C. Environmental Stewardship Initiative members. To assist in meeting program criteria, five one-day classroom modules were created to provide training on core EMS elements. All modules will be held in Raleigh and are offered at no cost.
Training will provide participants with hands-on exercises and in-depth discussion on specific EMS design elements. DPPEA staff, along with other experienced environmental professionals, will conduct the EMS training.
The five training modules to be presented are listed below.
Who should attend?
· ESI members developing their EMS
· Members developing an ESI Stewardship Plan

The classes will be taught in the DENR Training Room, 1H 120 at 2728 Capital Blvd., Raleigh beginning at 9am and will go until 4pm. Lunch will not be provided. Please bring your own mug or cup for beverages.
