You are invited to participate in a research study of transportation practices among CUNY students, staff, and faculty. This survey is being conducted by the CUNY Sustainability Task Force Public Health Subcommittee.

Study Purpose:

The information from this survey will be used to assess the methods and frequency of transportation used, types of fuel consumed, and amount of time spent commuting. The long-term objective is to improve the commutes of CUNY students, staff, and faculty to and from each of our CUNY campuses.

Study Procedure:

An online survey will be used to collect and analyze data. The survey will take only 5 minutes of your time to complete.

Risks:

There are no known risks to participation in this study.

Benefits:

Information from this survey will benefit the CUNY community by providing data for transportation improvement strategies. It is hoped that this data can be used to develop more sustainable transportation options for the CUNY campuses and thus reduce CUNY's carbon footprint.

Confidentiality:

The online survey is anonymous. The participants are not required to submit their names.

Voluntary Participation/Withdrawl:

Taking part in this study is completely voluntary. You are free to quit at any stage of the survey without any loss to you. You can also view the results of the survey at the completion. If you donot wish to view them, simply close the result.

Consent:

By clicking the submit button at the end of the survey questions, you have indicated that you are at least 18 years old and have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to take part in the survey.
