Halfpenny Development Entrepreneurship Survey
Welcome to the first of several short surveys on the theme of entrepreneurship.
This survey asks for your views on the differences in ideas and attitudes between "entrepreneurs" and the "self-employed".
This is a pilot study designed to create suggestions for where the major variances may be found, in order that a more robust research design can be created to investigate any differences that may be found with more reliability.
The definitions of the two groups listed below are wide definitions to encourage you to think mainly about the general spirit of each type of business behaviour rather than focusing on specific examples from individual business people.
Definitions:
Entrepreneur:
person who establishes a new business or product then leads it through a period of growth or expansion.
Self-employed:
person who establishes a new business or product and focuses on maintaining its position without regard to plans for growth or innovation.
Please answer all six questions.
To read more on the background to the survey go to Cameron's blog at: http://www.halfpennydevelopment.co.uk/blog/author/Cameron/.
The survey will be open until it has received 100 responses. Results will be posted here on completion.
Your anonimity will be protected at all times.
Thank you very much for taking part. Your contribution is valuable to us.
