Thank you for choosing to apply for scholarships with the Oregon Student Assistance Commission (OSAC). The paper application is available by mail through February 15th, in our office through February 28th, or for download from our website through February 28th.
We'd like to encourage you to apply online with the electronic application (eApp), rather than the paper application. Benefits of using the eApp include:
* OSAC saves your eApp online from year to year, so you need only update your info to re-apply annually.
* Using your eStudent profile online, track the specific scholarships you actually applied for, and make changes to your personal info as necessary.
* The eApp workbook with worksheet, instructions and scholarship listing, allows you to prepare your application before ever going online.
* With the paper application, OSAC must interpret and transcribe your handwritten data into an electronic database; eApp checks your data before submission, eliminating most errors and omissions that may occur during the manual process.
