The Syracuse University Foundation Awards were established to recognize individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, whose personal or professional lives have positively affected the LGBT community in a significant way.

Please help us identify individuals, LGBT and straight, who have made a contribution to the LGBT community at Syracuse University, SUNY-ESF, or in the greater Syracuse community. We look for those whose work, while fundamentally important, often goes unnoticed beyond their peers, family, and co-workers. The nominees may work professionally or informally towards a more positive environment for the LGBT community and all of us.

Award winners will be honored at the Rainbow Banquet on Thursday, April 23, 2009 in the Regency Ballroom of the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel.
