1. Teaching English as a Second Language

Hello teachers, thank you for your time. We are students in Christina Voss' English 300 class at SIU- Carbondale. We are conducting a survey to observe tactics that educators use when they are dealing with students who come from a different country and speak a different language. We will not need consent by the Human Subjects Committee (HSC)/ Institutional Review Board (IRB) of SIUC to conduct this survey, because it doesn't involve minors, or take blood samples, and is not for publication but for in-class practice only. The deadline for this survey is April 11th. If you would like to receive the results for this survey, please indicate the request to the group member that sends out this email.
