Eugene Community Climate and Energy Action Plan Survey
Early in 2009, Eugene’s City Council adopted the goal to develop a community climate and energy action plan to help the community reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address climate change. The plan will include strategies to reduce community-wide fossil fuel consumption 50% by 2030.
Between now and August 2010, City staff, partners, and the public will work together to create this Community Climate and Energy Action Plan. The plan will identify several areas where change will be needed to meet the stated goals.
This survey will help us create an inventory of the actions individuals and organizations are taking now to reduce emissions and prepare for climate change and rising energy costs.
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey and sharing your ideas and actions. Your input is very helpful to this community-wide effort.
