I have organized this questionnaire to find out how archaeobotanists deal with a variety of practical issues concerning the analysis of macroremains. I think it will take no more than 30 minutes to answer (probably a lot less). I plan to report the results at the 2010 meeting of the Society for American Archaeology in a forum organized by Christine Hastorf. I will also post the results online or in a publication.

The questionnaire is organized in six sections: field, laboratory, recording, reports and analysis, suggestions/comments, and demography. There is no need to answer questions that are not pertinent to your experience. Please answer questions based on your most usual practice. If you really do have multiple answers, however, feel free to check more than one box (e.g., if you frequently float with a machine and frequently float manually).
