Title of Project: EWB^2: Engineers Without Borders, A World of Educational Benefits

Request to Participate in Research

We would like to invite you to take part in a research project. The purpose of this research is to identify and determine the benefits of Engineers Without Borders within engineering education. This information will be used to understand how the idea of Engineers Without Borders can be better incorporated in engineering curriculum.

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in this research project. If you decide to participate in this study, we will ask you to fill out a survey/questionnaire about the benefits of Engineers Without Borders. It will take about 15 minutes.

There are no risks to you for taking part in this study. There are no direct benefits to you for participating in the study. However, your answers will help us to learn more about how the model of Engineers Without Borders may be used for an educational benefit. You will have the option to receive the results of this survey by e-mail at your request.

Your part in this study is anonymous to the researchers. However, because of the nature of web-based surveys, it is possible that respondents could be identified by the IP address or other electronic record associated with the response. Neither the researcher nor anyone involved with this survey will be capturing that data. Any reports or publications based on this research will use only group data and will not identify you or any individual as being affiliated with this project.

The decision to participate in this research project is up to you. You do not have to participate and you may refuse to answer any question.
