The Menkiti Group, in partnership with CoolTown Beta Communities, is 'group customizing' a building renovation into 16 attainably-priced green residential condos at 3318 Sherman Avenue, just four blocks from the Columbia Heights Metro. The project will financially benefit environmental organizations who are helping ensure it meets green standards. Homes are scheduled to be available December 2009, and first-come, first-serve reservations are starting with this survey. More info can be found on the project website at shermangreen.ning.com.
