1. Currently, students who register online are given first priority to participate in workshops. This system allows SLI to give students reminder emails and phone calls before workshops for which they are registered.

2. I know that, if I choose to complete certain requirements, I can obtain an official notation on my DePaul University transcript indicating that I earned a Certificate in Leadership Development:

3. In order to obtain the Certificate in Leadership Development, students need to complete the following before graduating with their undergraduate degree:
o Attend 4 core workshops (Leadership Concepts & Practices, Reflective Practice, Discovering the Leader in You, Leadership as Service), each is 3 hours in length
o Obtain 17 SLD credits* from SLI elective workshops (students can substitute other leadership experiences for some of these workshops). Most workshops are 2 or 3 hours in length.
*An hour in a workshop is typically equivalent to 1 SLD (Student Leadership Development) credit.
o Complete a final leadership capstone experience (paper, portfolio, presentation, project or workshop).
