. In order to obtain the Certificate in Leadership Development, students need to complete the following before graduating with their undergraduate degree:
o Attend 4 core workshops (Leadership Concepts & Practices, Reflective Practice, Discovering the Leader in You, Leadership as Service), each is 3 hours in length
o Obtain 17 SLD credits* from SLI elective workshops (students can substitute other leadership experiences for some of these workshops). Most workshops are 2 or 3 hours in length.
*An hour in a workshop is typically equivalent to 1 SLD (Student Leadership Development) credit.
o Complete a final leadership capstone experience (paper, portfolio, presentation, project or workshop).
I feel that these requirements:
