The Open Group Security Survey

1. Introduction

September 12, 2008

Greetings, and thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. We would like to receive all survey responses by September 26th.

Your survey response will be kept anonymous if you wish. Alternately, at your option if you would like to be put into the drawing for a free pass to a future Open Group conference, you can provide us with an e-mail address and contact information at the end of the survey.

The Open Group intends to use your feedback to improve our security initiatives and programs. If it will help you in completing this survey, you can get a snapshot of current Security Forum activities at: http://www.opengroup.org/security. We will also publish the results of this survey on the Security Forum website by October 10th, so please check the Security Forum website then if you are interested in seeing the results of the survey.

Also, feel free to forward this survey to others in your organization if you feel they are better placed to provide us with relevant feedback.

1. In your view, what are the most pressing IT security issues facing your organization today?

2. In which areas of IT security do you believe The Open Group Security Forum should be doing work? (Please list any specific security areas where you believe Security Forum could and should be focusing)
