This is the registration for Matt Zabel workshop " How Touching: Exploring Tactility" on Sunday, April 13 at 2:15 – 3:45 pm in the College of Design North (CDN) building room 64.

The workshop entails:
In a highly interactive session, Matt will introduce the importance of the visceral, tactile experience - and how designers can separate it from the myriad of variables in play when developing a new product. The unproven premise of the workshop is that there exists transcendent similarities in the way humans subconsciously respond to the tactile experience, and that this experience can serve as a powerful mode of communication with the end-user. Using individual and group exercises the workshop will seek to test this hypothesis and uncover if a "universal language of tactility" exists, and if so, begin to translate it.
