While many officials pander to large lending corporations, or claim impotence Brian Hudson has worked diligently to create innovative, concrete solutions like these to keep families across the state in their homes.
Sheriff William Mullen, the first Sheriff in Allegheny County to work with ACORN in 30 years! ACORN approached Sheriff Mullen soon after he was elected and he proved receptive and sympathetic, a welcome change! He is currently working to create a solution in Allegheny County to prevent foreclosures and help families work out fair and affordable loans.
ACORN's own Cathy Holler. Cathy, ACORN's Neighborhood Justice Volunteer, works tirelessly to help families navigate the system to save their homes. As of August 2008 Cathy has helped more than 200 families to save their homes.
