The United Nations believes that three actions are critical to empower young people to protect themselves from HIV:
1. Increase correct knowledge about HIV among young people in and out of school, including through the provision of good quality sexuality education.
2. Promote access to and use of condoms among young people.
3. Encourage use of HIV testing and counselling services by young people, especially those most-at-risk of HIV.
In preparation for the International AIDS Conference in Vienna, 18-23 July 2010, UNESCO*, UNICEF*, UNFPA* and WHO* want to hear your views as young people, and invite you participate in this quick survey.
You can respond to all or some of the questions below. A selection of your views will be put to a panel of experts at the Conference, and we will make their reactions available on the web afterwards.
Please feel free to include any video clips, statements, messages or weblinks to YouTube, Facebook or other social media, as a way of expressing your views. If you would like additional information, or would like to share with us any materials, please contact: yf.liu@unesco.org
