Jacqueline Kent was originally trained as a journalist and radio broadcaster, she has worked as a book editor and reviewer and has a Doctorate of Creative Arts from the University of Technology, Sydney. She is the author of two general social histories and six books of fiction for young adults and has won numerous literary awards including the Nita B. Kibble Award in 2009.
The Making of Julia Gillard is the first complete biography of Australia’s most powerful woman.
