BCCP currently has funding to serve about 7,000 women which represents only about 17% of the need in Oregon. The issue of how to allocate patient numbers to providers is a challenging one.

In February, BCCP used a survey to ask current BCCP providers, those on the provider wait list, and partners for their input on determining the allocation criteria for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 (July 2009 to June 2010). BCCP also identified an allocations steering committee and held their first meeting on March 4th, 2008.

At this meeting the survey results were taken forward to the group and criteria were selected. Meeting minutes have been posted on our website, www.healthoregon.org/bcc. This follow-up survey is an opportunity for you to provide feedback on the criteria that were selected, and/or the process. The survey is entirely optional.
