Language Teaching Survey

1. Language Teaching Survey

Dear Professional Educator:

Our two organizations at the University of Arizona, Partnership Across Languages (PAL) and the Center for Educational Resources in Culture, Language and Literacy (CERCLL), are conducting a joint survey of K-12 language teachers in the state of Arizona and we are requesting your participation. The survey aims to identify how best these two organizations may serve the K-12 language educator community in Arizona; it typically requires 10 minutes to be completed.

PAL (Partnership Across Languages) is a working group of colleagues dedicated to promoting language learning and teaching at the K-16 levels. The group is sponsored and coordinated by the College of Humanities at the University of Arizona. PAL provides a venue for the sharing of professional concerns and for the planning of collaborative action in the interests of the language teaching profession.

CERCLL (Center for Educational Resources in Culture, Language, and Literacy) is a Title VI federally-funded Language Resource Center, one of fifteen in the nation. The mission of CERCLL is to support the educational community and the nation by providing resources and research focused on culture, language and literacy in less commonly taught languages (LCTLs). The Center organizes professional development workshops throughout the year for K-16 language educators along with other events designed to promote the study of languages.
