Nutrition Business Journal / IADSA Global Survey 2009
Nutrition Business Journal, in cooperation with the International Alliance of Dietary/Food Supplement Associations (IADSA), is conducting a detailed survey of the global dietary supplement industry to determine industry trends, importance of key market drivers and to support market quantification.
Every two years, NBJ conducts a comprehensive research project to quantify the global market in the nutrition industry using national and regional data, secondary sources, company data and other means. This survey is part of that process and supports our efforts to make our state-of-the-industry report as accurate as possible. NBJ is a subscription newsletter and a business research company that has been dedicated to the industry since 1995. NBJ market data is used by companies, governments, associations (like IADSA and its national equivalents) and others as the standard for the supplement industry. The survey form will ask that you identify yourself and your company, will ask for your opinions on certain matters and request basic information about your 2007-2009 business in dietary supplement sales. (The survey focus is on dietary supplements, however, functional food, natural/organic food, natural personal care and ingredient supply companies are also encouraged to participate.)
WHY should I fill in this survey?
· Information from your company will be used to aggregate industry sales into product types, sales channels and other areas to allow a more accurate picture of size and growth of the global dietary supplement market and specific regions.
· Information reported by individual companies will not be published or disclosed except for a simple ranking of the top companies in ranges of wholesale supplement sales. All other information about company sales and performance will remain confidential.
· A summary of the aggregated survey results will be provided FREE to respondents that complete the full survey.
· Your opinion on market drivers, regulations, marketing, product development, management challenges and other issues will be heard and will help to support industry initiatives to promote business growth in dietary supplements.
