Entry is subject to these Conditions of Entry
1. Information regarding how to enter, how to claim and details of prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry into this competition (“Competition”) is open to persons who: (i) are Australian residents or New Zealand residents; (ii) are not employees or their immediate families of the Promoter, and its related companies; and (iii) are not precluded by their terms of employment from participating (each an "Eligible Entrant"). "Immediate family" means spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural, or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee.
3. The Promoter is holding an event titled “Sun Tech Days 2008”, in Bayside Grand Hall of the Sydney Convention & Exhibtion Centre, Darling Drive, Darling Harbour Sydney NSW, on 04/03/08 and in satelite location in Melbourne (the “Event”).
4. To enter:
(a) register to attend Sun Tech Days 2008 on http://au.sun.com/sunnews/events/2008/techdays/; and
(b) follow the prompts to complete the online entry form including by answering in 50 words or less “Ask James a Question”.
Entries must be received by 01/03/08.
5. Entry is only valid if all details on the Entry Form are completed. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over internet communications, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.
In the case of dispute regarding an online entry, the entrant will be determined at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
6. The Winner will be decided on originality and creative merit. Judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Enter as many times as you like, but each answer must be different, duplicate entries will not be considered.
8. No personal information is collected or supplied to or for any third party.
9. The winner, subject to meeting the requirements of condition, will win the competition Prize. The Prize comprises an Apple iPod Touch 8GB valued at $419.
10. The winner will be announced during the “Q&A with James Gosling” on 04/03/08 at the Event between 10:05am and 10:45am EST, and notified by email. The prize will be forwarded within 7 days of the draw if winner is not present at time of announcement.
11. All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition. 12. The name of the winner will be published at http://au.sun.com/sunnews/events/2008/techdays/ from 14/03/08 for at least 7days.
13. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
14. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) whatsoever which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant arising out of, or in any way connected with, the Competition or prizes, including: (i) any indirect, economic or cons
