Noone gets credit because if everyone wants a piece of the action then it's really about peoples' egos being hurt if someone else appears to look like the better coach.
Their parents because their genes created the possibility of being fast in the first place.

I do because I'm the one who coached the athletes all season.
Everyone gets credit if they want it because you don't coach in a vacuum and everyone is involved in the process.
The athletes get credit because they're the only ones that actually did anything.
The Universe because if you believe in multiple universes, this is the one they were born in.
Planet Earth because of all the billions of planets, this is the one they were born on.
The school/town because this is where they live and no person should get the credit.
The Milky Way galaxy because of all the billions of galaxies, this is the one they were born in.
