Looking to enhance your education and skills in the animal protection field? Look no further than Humane Society University’s innovative online and onsite courses.

Humane Society University is the first higher education institution in the country to be licensed to provide academic curriculum exclusively dedicated to human-animal studies. The District of Columbia Education and Licensure Committee has approved HSU’s Bachelor of Science degrees and graduate certificate programs in Animal Studies, Animal Policy and Advocacy, and Humane Leadership.

For HSU undergraduate programs, applicants must have completed at least 60 college credits. Graduate certificate applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree. Degree and certificate programs can be completed online or with a combination of online and onsite classes.

HSU also offers professional instruction on diverse topics – everything from mastering animal sheltering basics and leadership to development to combating compassion fatigue and illegal animal fighting. Professional development courses are offered as in-person workshops throughout the country and user-friendly online courses that can fit any schedule.
