1. Victory Deployment 2008
Join the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Georgia Republican Party as they get-out-the-vote for the ever-so important December 2nd run-off election in Georgia. Under direction of the state party of Georgia, the RNC will be sponsoring a volunteer trip from the night of November 28th to the morning of December 3rd. Get-out-the-vote activities include making phone calls, recruiting volunteers, contacting door-to-door and assisting with additional campaign activities and operations. Food, transportation, and hotel will be provided.
While the RNC will group schools or communities together as best as possible, the only guarantee is that roommate requests will be honored.
By signing up below, one is committing to participation and therefore will be responsible for any costs incurred by cancellation.
By completing the below questions you are agreeing to all of the following parameters:
*I am 18 years of age or older, and am a registered voter in the city and state listed below.
*I certify that all the information provided below is truthful and accurate.
*I understand that this is an application (only) for deployment and does not guarantee my placement in the program.
*I understand that, if selected, I will be volunteering on behalf of a State Party.
*I understand that my application will be reviewed and decisions will be made based on requests for volunteers and resources available.
*I should expect to be notified of my acceptance in the Victory 5-Day deployment program within 72-hours of signing up or no later than Wednesday, November 19th.
*My lodging and in-state transportation will be provided by the State Party; if I back out after travel arrangements have been made, I will be responsible for reimbursing the transportation cost.
*I realize that the hours of work during deployment will be long - likely 12-hour days.
*I understand that travel days are firm. I am able to depart on the evening of Friday, November 28th and return on the morning of Wednesday, December 3rd.
