Dear Marina 1 Stakeholder,

Marina 1 (A – P fingers) is over 25 years old and the docking system is nearing the end of its useful life. The Santa Barbara Waterfront Department proposes replacement of the main headwalk and A through P fingers in 10 phases. Phase 1 includes the main headwalk and all utilities. Construction of Phase 1 is tentatively scheduled for the winter of 2008/09. Construction of additional phases will occur every one to two years as funding allows. Each phase will take 3 – 4 months to complete.

The following questionnaire has been developed to get feedback of the wants and needs of Marina 1 Stakeholders. The questions are arranged in two different sections: General and Construction related issues. Information gathered from the questionnaire will help the Waterfront Department to develop a design and construction techniques that impact slipholders as little as possible.
